Pilates classes go ahead every Wednesday morning. If you can’t attend the LIVE classes, you will be emailed the recording to do in your own time, on-demand. But only if you book. Go ahead and sign up and I’ll see you for our delicious Pilates matwork class.
Congratulations on taking the first step towards joining us for Pilates classes. These are such wonderful conditioning classes that are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. I find them particularly beneficial for older women who need a little less impact and more strengthening and body conditioning.
Pilates classes focus a lot of strengthening the core and then using that as the basis for all exercises moving forward. All of the Pilates moves are carried out on the mat. You don’t need shoes and will find yourself getting very comfortable as you lengthen, strengthen, and condition your body to the max.
What Do You Need For Pilates Classes?
- A sticky yoga mat
- A quiet space
- 30 minutes of your time
- Comfortable clothing
- Leggings and a fitted top or t-shirt will be best. There are some instances where you might find that a loose top will get in the way. No one is watching, so wear whatever you’re comfortable in
